TIA IS AN INSTITUTION PROVIDING HIGH QUALITY AND COMPETITIVE EDUCATION

Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance, Honorable Elijah G. Mwandumbya, commended the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA) as one of the educational institutions under the Ministry of Finance that takes pride in delivering quality and competitive education within and outside the country. The institute is recognized for providing professional advice and conducting research to address real challenges in society and industries.

“I encourage the graduates to consider the milestone they have reached as a catalyst to further strengthen themselves professionally in order to compete in the job market,” stated the Deputy Secretary General.

Furthermore, Said Musendo Chiguma, the Chairman of TIA’s Advisory Board, congratulated the graduates for overcoming academic obstacles and witnessing this significant moment in their lives. He urged them to utilize their knowledge effectively for fruitful outcomes.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy, Professor William Pallangyo, announced that a total of 7,252 students graduated from the Dar es Salaam campus. The overall number of graduates for the year 2022/2023 across all TIA campuses, including Dar es Salaam, Mbeya, Singida, Mtwara, Kigoma, and Mwanza, is 13,372.

Expressing gratitude for the education received at TIA, John Baraka, a graduate in Procurement and Supply, pledged to become one of the intellectuals that the nation can be proud of.
