Consultancy is core function and mandate of TIA. Research,Consultancy and Publications is a department that offer consultancy services to officers and staff from government entities, private sectors, NGOs, training institutions, deposit taking microfinance service institutions, non-deposit taking microfinance service providers, Community microfinance groups, Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOS)individual entrepreneurs.TIA expertise on empowering knowledge that capacitatemanagers and staff from public and private entitiesto contribute to sustainable development of the organizations and businesses. In order to meet the target of the Tanzania vision 2025 on competence and competitiveness TIA has categorized consultancy activities into three types:
