Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA is a Government training institution under the Ministry of Finance and Planning that provides Quality Business  Education, Research and Consultancy services in the business related disciplines.

TIA is pleased to announce the call for papers for the 1^st International conference on Business Management and Economic Development.

The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for capacity building and networking among researchers, practitioners and policy makers in Africa and fostering economic development through creativity, innovation and investment.

THE CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD AT ACADEMIC BUILDING-TIA DAR ES SALAAM ON 29^th -30^th NOVEMBER 2022

THEME: CREATIVITY, INNOVATION AND INVESTMENT FOR ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY

SUB-THEMES: The conference welcomes abstract submissions in any area(s) of business including, but not limited to:

1. Entrepreneurship and Innovation
2. Investment and Financial markets
3. Small businesses management and creativity
4. Block chain and crypto assets (i.e. exchange tokens, security tokens and utility tokens)
5. Blue economy
6. Accountancy and Finance
7. Value chain
8. Leadership and governance
9. Digital technology and economic advancement

IMPORTANT DATES:

Notification of Abstract acceptance:        15^th August 2022

Submission of full paper:       30^th September 2022

Notification of Reviewers’ comments:               15^th October 2022

Submission of Revised papers:      15^th November 2022

Conference date: 29^th -30^th November 2022

The abstract should not be more than 300 words including names of author(s), affiliations, and contact addresses. Presentation type could be in the form of papers, posters or case study.

The full paper should not exceed 6000 words, and be structured with introduction, Methodology, Results, Discussion and Conclusion.

POSTGRADUATE AND PhD CANDIDATES Tshs 100,000; OTHER PARTICIPANTS Tshs 150,000 TO COVER DRINKS, LUNCH AND CONFERENCE MATERIALS

NB:

Submission of abstracts between 30^th July 2022 to 10^th August 2022 will be regarded as late submission, and will be charged Tshs. 200,000

Accepted papers will be published as special issue in the African Journal of Accounting and Social Science Studies-AJASSS
