Consultancy is a core function of the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA). The Research, Consultancy, and Publications directorate at TIA offers consultancy services to various entities including government agencies, private sectors, NGOs, training institutions, microfinance service providers, community microfinance groups, SACCOS, and individual entrepreneurs. TIA specializes in empowering managers and staff from both public and private entities, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary for the sustainable development of their organizations and businesses.

To align with the objectives set by Tanzania Vision 2025 regarding competence and competitiveness, TIA has categorized its consultancy activities into three types:

1. Consultancy services: TIA provides a wide range of consultancy services tailored to the specific needs of clients and sectors.
2. Tailor-made courses: TIA designs customized courses to meet the specific requirements of organizations and individuals, enabling them to acquire targeted knowledge and skills.
3. Short courses: TIA offers short-duration courses designed to enhance the capabilities of professionals and entrepreneurs within a condensed timeframe.

Through these consultancy offerings, TIA aims to support the achievement of Tanzania’s vision for 2025 by promoting competence and competitiveness across various sectors.
