The Directorate of Academic Affairs (DAA), led by the Director of Academic Affairs under the Depute Rector Responsible for Academic Research and Consultancy (DR ARC), supervises all academic-related activities at the Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA). Its primary duties involve the Development of the curriculum while guaranteeing its compliance with market demands and adhering to regulatory authorities such as NACTVET and TCU. Additionally, the Directorate ensures compliance with industry professional bodies like NBAA and PSPTB. The directorate places emphasis on maintaining a superior teaching and learning environment while ensuring the relevance of academic performance assessments.
