The Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA), as an academic institution, supports
both the national and global agendas through academic, research, consultancy, and
outreach programs. TIA aims to bridge the gap between applied research and the
challenges faced by society. To effectively contribute to national development
initiatives, TIA’s research activities need to focus on areas of national development
priorities. This requires a comprehensive yet dynamic research agenda that can
